John and Betty Redmond started
Hotsy Equipment Company in the summer of 1971 in North Glenn, Colorado.
John worked full time for United Airlines and began selling pressure
washers on-the-side. In 1972, he quit his job with United Airlines and
moved to Illinois to become a distributor for Hotsy.
In 1989 John and Betty’s son Steve joined the family business. Upon John
and Betty’s retirement in 2002, Steve took over as General Manager of
Hotsy Equipment Company.
We, at Hotsy of Princeton, have been serving most of Illinois and
Eastern Iowa for thirty five years. Currently, we have over 100 models
of Hot and Cold Water Cleaning Systems in our standard line. We also
handle a complete line of detergents and accessories to match each unit
and individual cleaning needs. Products we handle are:

Hotsy of Princeton is also proud to be one of the largest detergent
distributors in the country. Detergent can be purchased in 5 gallon
pails, 55 gallon drums or 275 gallon totes. And we always offer free
delivery of detergents.
Our sales staff will perform free on-site demonstrations to custom fit
detergent and/or equipment to each individual customer’s needs. Hotsy of
Princeton also accepts trade-ins of any kind of pressure washer when
making the decision to upgrade to a Hotsy.
